Terms of Use

1. The App

Weiter so! helps you keep a habit: you set a challenge, check in, and build a streak — on your own or together with friends in a group. The App is free of charge.

The App is not medical or health advice. Exercise and other challenges are done at your own risk; take your health into account and consult a professional if in doubt.

2. Your account

• You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or legal guardian agrees to your use of the App.
• The details you give us must be true, and the account is for you alone.
• Keep your password safe. You are responsible for what happens in your account.

3. Your content

In group challenges you can share proof photos and are shown to the group by your display name. You stay the owner of what you share. You are responsible for it, and you may only share photos you have the right to share — if other people can be recognised in a photo, you need their permission.

You give us a free, non-exclusive right to store your content and show it to the members of your group, only as far as this is needed to run the App. This right ends when the content is deleted — photos are deleted automatically after 7 days, or earlier when you delete them or your account.

4. No tolerance for objectionable content or abuse

There is no tolerance in Weiter so! for objectionable content or abusive users. You must not share or do anything that:

• is sexual or contains nudity;
• shows, glorifies or threatens violence, or shows self-harm;
• insults, harasses, bullies, threatens or discriminates against anyone, including hate speech;
• is illegal, or infringes other people’s rights — such as their privacy, image rights or copyright;
• shows other people’s private information;
• is spam or advertising, or tries to trick other users.

Every photo can be reported in the App. A reported photo is hidden from the person who reported it at once. We review reports and act on them within 24 hours: we remove content that breaks these rules and can suspend or permanently remove the account that shared it. You can also report content or users to weitersoapp@gmail.com. In a group, the person who created it can remove members, and you can leave any group at any time.

5. Availability and changes

We work to keep the App available and correct, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may change, add or remove features, for example to improve the App or for technical or legal reasons.

6. Ending your use

You can stop using the App at any time and delete your account in the App (Profile → Account & settings → Delete account). We may suspend or close accounts that seriously or repeatedly break these Terms, after a warning where reasonable.

7. Liability

The App is provided free of charge. We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and under the German Product Liability Act. Otherwise, our liability is excluded. Mandatory statutory rights remain unaffected.

8. Apple and Google

These Terms are between you and us, not Apple or Google. We alone — not Apple or Google — are responsible for the App, its content, support and any claims relating to it. If you downloaded the App from the App Store, Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms, for example when the App changes. We will tell you about material changes in the App or by email before they take effect. If you keep using the App afterwards, the updated Terms apply; if you do not agree, you can delete your account.

10. Law and contact

German law applies. If you are a consumer, this does not take away the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live.
